Mileage: 1438km (438 overdue for service!)
Now that 'new car' Jack is public knowledge, I'm getting more feedback on the choice of car. All not very favourable. One prime example:
orlson: you should've ask me for my advice
orlson: *sigh
orlson: but then sine you bought it already..there's no point talking bout what car to buy already
orlson: who did you ask?
You can feel the 'bad choice, bad choice' murmurs behind that piece.
On hindsight, thank goodness I did not consult much before buying. I'd be confused on all the opinions and still be stuck in the deciding process instead of already driving a comfortable car.

The comment about the bad spectra came from someone who told me that a Mazda Lantis is a better buy than a BMW 318i.
true true true you shouldn't consult him, consult me instead! I'll ask you to "ride" me instead! I have multi level speed controls, reliable, nice fury cushioning, manly voice and sound recognition systems, and great in bed.
* terms and conditions imply that if you are not happy with your product you may let someone else "ride" it.
i fully agree with baba since his ride is so much better than orlson's ride comparitively.
1 - baba has multilevel speed controls whereas also orlson got ribcage like dashboard.... which one you like better? hrm...
2 - baba has nice fur like cuhsioning wherea orlson got hard like cardboard with wires poking out seats :D your choice
3 - baba got manly voice and sound recognition system... erm... orlson's ride you sit liao he get suffocated and he will hear nothing and maybe become nothing :D *kemek* :D
4 - great in bed part... that wan ar both of them need to go do a video of it first for me to comment lor...
conclusion: 3 out of 4 sides with baba so consult baba before you buy a car
Somehow it seems that even a BMW is not good enough for some people. Seems like the current top of the range car is a Lantis. Hrm...why was i so stupid? Would have save a lot of bucks. Stupid me.

What i meant from that lantis is that for those ppl who can't afford the BMW unlike you.
it is the 1st vehicle since 2001 to get the insurance industry's worst safety rating in a frontal crash test
and that was b4 2005. The new 2005 model have improved alot just like Hyundai last time when they first rolled out their cars. They keep on improving.
whoa.. looks like discussing Jack as a good (or not) buy is getting heaty...
thanks to those supporting Jack the Spectra (although he's an evil Korean *grin)
everybody's got an opinion. respect the points brought up by orlson/cyth's and also everybodys say.
In the end, it's a matter of MY preference (and budget!!). I chose Jack, so there. Thanks Kay, for your part in that decision.

As long as you love Jack very much(you still loving it, right? =D), why do you need to care about how or what other people think? ;p
Whats life without bashing up someone? Boring isnt it? Its a life cycle u see.u bash spectra...we bash u....u bash us....etc etc...but then again its the case of natural selection, the weaker ones die off from all the bashing...so lets see what happens. Dun la get so sensitive and all...boring la u.
Anyway im happy that sharnila bought a spectra and it doesnt bother me much that she didnt ask for my opinion. Why should she ask the whole worlds opinion? Ask for a national consensus? Its her car and her money and her frontal crash rating. Not that im saying shes gonna have a frontal crash and all...shes a good driver...better than some in our batch, if u know what i mean.
Its true that some people may say that a spectra really isnt her, but then again, how many of us really know who the REAL sharnila is? Hrm...i've known her for 6 years and out of that i was her roommate for 3. And i still dont know who she really is. Even better still, im not even slightly offended or concerned that she didnt ask me for my opinion or whatever before she bought her car.
Now, Sharnila, u really owe me a ride and a visit. And no, ian and james, i dont mean your kinda ride.

Spektra or not, its the driver who drives it. As long as driver happy, heck with the world :P I had my share of comments bout my car too. Some said 'y not get [car name] or [car name] etc'. And guess wat? Everyone seems to hint at big cars. And do you have any idea how many times i had to repeat 'I LIKE SMALL CARS'? Too many times, thats wat I think :P
So do i get to test drive it? *evil grin* not much mar.. at least i'm not asking u to drive ME :p
From what i've talked to you before is from my point of view in terms of getting the lantis rather that a 318i. It's affordability i'm talkin about here. my point of view in "affordability".
We were talking about getting a used car. Not a new car. You want to get a 318i, I didnt even say you MUST get Lantis. I did even suggest that you get at better ones but you said you budget is this and that; i said up to you.
You guys should be proud of owning your very own hard earn cash to buy your own car. Heck, i can't even afford one.
like i said "RIDE" me instead kindly take note that new terms and conditions have been applied *the "ride" may reject to male gender unless they are super duper adorable and cute, then the "ride" might consider letting them on. XD
